Starting out in Manhattan in 1944, we were in the wholesale end of the loose diamond trade. As years progressed and markets changed, we decided to travel the world looking for new and wonderful finished pieces to supply our already steady diamond buying customers. Only now, we were providing them with magnificent and unusual jewelry from all over the globe. We established ourselves as estate jewelers to the trade. In 1978, we uprooted ourselves from the crazy New York lifestyle for a warmer climate and even warmer market. That year, Ruth Fox and Robert Goodman opened a new company ... The Collection, Inc. With that type of name, or newly acquired Florida clientele realized that they could come to us for anything. Since then, we have transitioned even further into modern jewelry. We are buyers of not only loose goods and antique and estate pieces, but also manufacturer’s closeouts and overstock.

At present time, we now have three generations still running this business like a well oiled machine. Besides having two of the originators of the company, we also have an in house GIA Graduate Gemologist to help lead us, as well as our clientele in the right direction.
